During this Sociology Graduate Programs Information Session, applicants will learn about the admissions process. The Director of the Graduate Program, Prof. Thomas Soehl and other members of the department will share advice about the process and how to write a strong application. The session will also cover useful tips on how to navigate the McGill application portal, descriptions of required application documents (what is/is not accepted), the process for supervisor selection, and eligibility requirements for our various graduate programs. We will also describe, in short, the difference between and expected length of our various programs, and opportunities for graduate funding.
