Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 7:00 PM until 8:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

    ---

Beginning in Fall 2026, the Daniel and Monica Gold Centre for Early Childhood Development will support the new Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Intervention, through the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University.

This one year (15 credit) program will provide advanced training to practitioners in a range of fields (childcare, education, psychology, sociology, social work) to support young children (ages 3-8) with neurodivergences. Uniquely, the certificate will focus on designing and implementing interventions that address cognitive, social, and emotional development, introduce the Reggio Emilia approach and praxis, and foster literacy in the early years.

The deadline for applications is April 1, 2026.
Please be advised that the deadline for international students this year has passed.

Due to a high interest in the program, and for those not able to make our December webinar, Associate Director of the Daniel and Monica Gold Centre, Dr. Sheryl Smith-Gilman, will hold a second session to share information with prospective students.
